Over the next 6 days I will be highlighting 2 or 3 of the ASK Cosmetics Nailwear shades leading up to our giveaway in March. If you are interested to winning any of these nail polishes plus some other "goodies" by ASK Cosmetics, I strongly suggest you keep your eyes on this blog.
FYI - The new additions to the ASK Cosmetics Nailwear line-up have 15 ml = 0.5 fl. oz. (rather than 9 ml = 0.31 fl. oz.). All of our polishes are Big-3 free as well as camphor free. They are also vegan-friendly.
The first shade to be introduced is from our new Nailwear Collection 2012. It goes by the name "Oh So Aubergine", which is the French word for egg-plant. This colour has a rich, exquisite attitude to it, that offers good coverage after only one coat.
Some people might call it deep purple, but I think this shade has much more depth to it. As far as versatility is concerned you can pair this shade with so many colours in your wardrobe, for example: blues, greys, beige to dark brown, greens. The possibilities are endless and will look oh so elegant. In this particular shot I have only applied one coat.
Strutting its stuff ......the second one (of today) is known as "Classic Peacock". Actually, it looks more teal-like in this shot than it actually is in reality. When you have the bottle sitting in front of you it definitely looks more greenish than blue. Imagine the deepest, most intense shade of a peacock's feather! That's the shade it represents, thus the name!
A very classy "notice me" kind of polish - just like the brilliant plumage of the male peacock!
Again, this shade can be worn with many different colours and will prove to extremely versatile in your lacquer line-up.
What do you think of these shades? Is it something you would wear?
Have a great weekend! Stay tuned for tomorrow's two - Lisa M.
I really love these colors..they are so rich & deep...excited about getting them...
ReplyDelete@L Soldan - Yes, they are very rich. Once you apply them, it is hard to take them off again.
DeleteI would probably be more likely to wear the egg-plant colored polish. Some blues don't look good on me.
ReplyDelete@Thalie - The bottle really does look blue in this photo, but I hope you can see the true dark teal shade on my nails.
DeleteI'd wear both, but probably go for the Classic Peacock - I have enough purples already. I like the fact that they are sheer in one coat because I always go with three *hides in shame*!
ReplyDelete@Ash-Lilly - I agree, one coat is a dream to apply.
DeleteLove the blue! Very pretty :D
ReplyDelete@Anutka - thanks for checking them out. Yes, Classic Peacock has a lot of heads turning.
DeleteI'm such a purple girl, but that blue is stunning!
ReplyDelete@Jennius - It certainly does look blue in the bottle shot, but hopefully the photos show the real teal look to it.
DeleteThat purple looks stuning :D
ReplyDelete@Enigma - Yes, it is very rich and can easily be worn with one coat.
DeleteI love to wear both. I'm excited to have them soon. They will perfectly much my taste.
ReplyDelete@Kimberley Earls - We are also very happy with them. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI am totally loving these new colours. How much are they and how would I go about purchasing them? I checked on the ASK website and I didn't see them. Please let me know. By any chance, are these colors available on the The Shopping Channel website or outlet store? Please let me know.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Mishie79
