Essie - in business for more than 30 years

"Chinchilly"

If there is one nail polish company that I really love, it is Essie.  This female entrepreneur has truly created some of the most iconic shades over the past 30 years.  After being acquired by L'Oreal in 2010 Essie products became well-known in more countries around the globe, even adorning Her Majesty's nails.

"Beach Bum Blu"

Originally she set out to create, "...something that would go on like silk, wear like iron and be shiny for a week."  Her most current shades seem to be ahead of the game in regard to colour trends.  The Essie Spring 2012 Collection has a financial theme, seemingly in line with world politics.

4 x 5 ml bottles (left to right):  "Sure Shot, No More Film, Pink-A-Boo, She's Picture Perfect"

The idea of smaller bottles for a seasonal shade is fantastic.  I can't wait to try these on my nails.  According to Ms. Weingarten: "If your nails are not done, you are not dressed, as far as I'm concerned."

In my opinion, if your nails look naturally-healthy and vibrant without polish, that is also a great look to wear.  But there is nothing like decorating them for a special occasion or night out on the town!

Have you tried Essie polishes?  What is your opinion on them?

FYI - My Lucid Bubble is running a giveaway (winner to be chosen April 26th) and the prize is Essie Luxeffects

Thanks for taking the time.  Enjoy the rest of your day, Lisa M.
